Warm, relaxed and full of love — a perfect Gippsland wedding
As a Gippsland wedding photographer, I get to witness so many incredible stories, and Courtney and Sean’s day at The Grove Gippsland was one of those that stays with you. A stunning Gippsland wedding venue, surrounded by rolling hills, olive groves, and the warmth of family, it was the perfect reflection of who they are — down-to-earth, joyful, and beautifully connected.
Getting Ready
Courtney spent the morning on her family farm in Outtrim, surrounded by the familiarity of the place she grew up. Her dad’s cars were a beautiful personal touch — and I don’t think I’ve ever seen a prouder father. The connection between siblings, parents, and the bride set a tone of closeness and joy that carried right through the day and into the night — especially during their beautifully choreographed father–daughter dance. Truly amazing.
Meanwhile, Sean was in Inverloch, getting ready with his friends and family in a relaxed, laughter-filled atmosphere — the perfect backdrop for the day ahead.
Ceremony & Reception at The Grove Gippsland
Nestled among rolling green hills, The Grove Gippsland is a venue that feels both luxurious and down-to-earth. Surrounded by olive groves and wide-open views that flow seamlessly from indoors to outdoors, it’s the perfect setting for a couple like Courtney and Sean — elegant yet relaxed.
The ceremony took place on the helipad at the end of the olive grove, where a natural aisle of trees framed a breathtaking view as the bridal party made their approach. It’s one of those settings that feels made for a moment like this — quiet, picturesque, and full of meaning. With a built-in arbour and crisp white seating, the helipad creates a naturally elegant space for saying “I do.”
After the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés at the helipad bar. The wine barrels, outdoor shade, and extra seating made it the perfect place to relax and take in the surroundings. Surrounded by eucalyptus and truffle trees, it’s a truly magical corner of The Grove.
While guests made their way to the reception, I took the bridal party on a loop through some of the 60 acres of pure magic — soft golden light over hilltop lawns, tall straight gums, and sparkling waterside moments by the dams. Every backdrop is picture-perfect, ready to capture the story of your day forever, and an absolute dream for a photographer.
As the sun dipped lower, The Grove transformed into a glowing evening venue — the kind where music, conversation, and a touch of magic hang in the air. Sarah and the team created such a thoughtful atmosphere, and it showed: every detail felt intentional, from the layout and lighting to the stunning views stretching out over the property.
